The side windows of the Volkswagen Split Bus are fully or partially equipped with pop-out windows, which can be opened a few centimeters.
There are not many Volkswagen Buses whose pop-out window frames are still in good working condition. The condition of the rubbers that seal the frame against the body is even worse.
In order to close the window properly, Volkswagen opted for a double rubber seal. One rubber is fixed in the window frame, the second one in the groove of the bodywork.
The rubber shown here is the rubber on the body and is available in two qualities. If you want a rubber that fits perfectly, follows the curves of the corners, and seals as Volkswagen intended, choose quality A. If you don't mind that the rubber is a little smaller, making the corners less tight, and that the side where the window frame rests doesn't have extra sealing ribs, you can choose quality B.
