In many VW Vanagons, the first forms of rust start to appear on the underside, behind the rear wheels in the extreme corners.
You might consider welding pieces of sheet metal there, but not only is it an art to repair this cleanly and invisibly, it's also very time-consuming.
A better solution is to drill through the sheet metal at the spot welds and weld on a replacement piece. The bottom of the corner and the visible part above it, as well as the complete bottom of the corner, are available.
The only question now is the shape of your VW Bus, whether it's sufficient to replace the bottom corner, or whether it's necessary to replace the bottom plate as well.
You'll find all the other parts on the various tabs.
