The wiring of the headlight runs through the front wheel arch to the bodywork of our classic Volkswagen (with the exception of the Bus).
To protect the wiring and not give rust a chance, the wiring is guided through a wire lead.
In the Beetles up to 7/1959 these were metal tubes that were subsequently changed to rubber tules. In the later 1303 Beetles and Karmann Ghias, these are separate wire tubes where the wiring runs through a protective sleeve.
