If you don't want the heat exchangers to expire on a higher horsepower engine where high power is achieved by an exhaust system with a larger tube diameter, use these high performance heat exchangers. The inner tube diameter is 35 mm (outer 38 mm). The connection between the exhaust system and the exchanger is a flanged connection, where gaskets for the larger diameter must be used (see the "Options" tab).
To mount the heat exchanger, it is necessary to weld the supplied connecting flanges to your existing exhaust system. As the heaters are designed to lose as little energy as possible, they are very light, which means that the aluminium part around the exhaust pipe is missing. The heat output is therefore lower than that of a standard exchanger. But it's better to have a little less heat while maintaining engine power, rather than without heating.
They are supplied in grey transport paint, excluding the control levers (see "options" tab), but with mounting flanges. The transport paint is intended to prevent rusting in the warehouse. If you want to keep the exchanger clean, you will have to treat it regularly with heat resistant paint. Immediately after switching on the heater, the transport paint will partially peel off.
The heaters are supplied without mounting material and without control levers, please order them immediately. See the "options" tab.
If you are looking for standard exchangers, chromed exchangers, exchangers for another type of engine or an exchanger replacement, look at the "related parts" tab.
