If your engine provides more power, starting will often be more difficult. As the compression has changed in most cases, the original starter sometimes does not have the power to start the more powerful engine. Previously, a 6-volt starter was used that had to operate on a 12-volt circuit. This makes it easier to start a higher compression engine, but your 6-volt starter will wear out much faster.
With this high-power starter, you have the right part to have a powerful starter motor for good. This starter operates only on 12 volts, has a powerful 1.4 kilowatt motor (the original is 0.7 kilowatt), works with magnets and not with windings, which reduces the risk of malfunction. It has a longer lifespan and weighs about two kilos less than the original, which is important on the circuit.
Of course, this solution is suitable not only for performance engines but also for standard engines, which makes it a perfect solution for a super-fast starting car.
If you are looking for an even more powerful starter or a standard model, see the "alternatives" tab.
