The original clutch disc was originally developed for a maximum of 50 hp. If the engine power is increased by a few horsepower, you don't have to worry. But if the engine develops much more than a few horsepower more than the original power, you'll need to make a few changes to make sure you can use that power.
Replacing the standard clutch disc with this reinforced "Kush-lok" version is the right choice for on-road use. If you're off-roading or drag racing, it's better to use a ceramic clutch disc (see the alternatives tab).
Kush-lok clutch discs can withstand a lot more heat thanks to their braided brass coating. In addition, the hub is sandwiched with a damping material to absorb vibrations. Combine this clutch disc with a reinforced pressure plate and you have the perfect configuration for road and track use.
The size shown is the diameter of the clutch disc.
