The most accurate place to measure the oil temperature is in the middle of the oil.
This dipstick replaces the original dipstick and is equipped with a temperature sensor. The advantage: you measure exactly in the middle of the oil reserve in the crankcase, which is very accurate. The disadvantage is that you have wires on your dipstick.
The sender can also be used for brands other than VDO, but check if your instrument indicates the right temperature by testing in boiling water, if the meter reads 100ºC then the combination of meter and sender is perfect.
Use your old dipstick to determine the correct insertion depth, this dipstick is adjustable for several models.
Can be used for 6 and 12 volts, no connection method is specified on the gauge, if your temperature gauge does not display correctly, you must reverse the plugs.
Note : In many cases, due to its length, the gauge cannot always be placed vertically without touching other parts of the motor. You can bend it into any position you like, but this does not affect its operation.
