Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers, not all manufactured for a particular model, but used universally. These parts can be identified by their reference number starting with the "N" of the German word "Normteile", meaning "standard parts". If it's a standard part, it doesn't mean it's still available today.
Below, for each VW model, you'll find a list of the functions of these cylinder screws and the total number of parts required if you were to replace them all.
Beetle convertible:
