Thin metal sheets can easily be set in motion by sound vibrations, which is why the floor is largely covered with sound-absorbing plates that absorb these vibrations. But not only the floor, also in doors and various other places where sound vibrations could occur. If you want to test the difference with or without the soundproofing plate, mount one door with and the other without, the door with the soundproofing plate closes with a heavy noise, and the other door makes a metallic noise when it closes.
The soundproofing plates mentioned here are self-adhesive and have a size of 25 cm by 45 cm and a thickness of 2.4 mm, which is practically identical to the original.
The flexibility of their treatment allows them to take any shape without heating them, making them very suitable for universal use in many places. You can also use them to replace your existing soundproofing plate that is no longer available in its current form.
