You can't reuse a rocker shaft stud in the cylinder head, so replacement is the only correct method.
For Type 4 engines, these are identical to the original ones, while for other engines they are made of chrome-molybdenum steel.
Chromium-molybdenum is stronger than standard steel, which is essential for high-performance cylinder heads fitted with double valve springs. But it's also a very good choice for original cylinder heads - why use the original if you can use higher-quality parts.
For Type 4 engines, it's important to use the right M7 nuts with class 10 hardness, for other engines standard M8 nuts. Order additional nuts and washers if required, listed in the "options" tab
