From 1955 to 1979, the Luxury Buses were equipped with an aluminium luggage rack mounted on the backrest of the rear seat, which blocked stacked luggage at a height and thus protected the occupants.
The luggage rack is available as a complete part, but the plugs supplied are made of aluminium like those used by Volkswagen until 2.1961, after which they were replaced by light ivory plastic tips.
On many original luggage racks, the caps are missing or plastic caps are mounted when they should be made of aluminium or vice versa.
