Made of polished stainless steel, this stinger protrudes at an angle to the rear, side or top depending on the spaghetti (exhaust manifold) it is mounted on.
The stinger is not equipped with a factory muffler, but one is available as an option and can be found in the options tab. It is obvious that the stinger will produce a deafening noise without a muffler. Letting the power of the engine do the talking is the reason many people mount the stinger without a muffler.
Legally, the stinger is considered a sharp protruding part, so it is officially prohibited on public roads. For technical inspection and therefore officially also for public roads, it will have to be replaced with the muffler that came with your exhaust system from the factory.
To be sure that your stinger will fit your existing spaghetti exhaust system, please measure the bolt spacing before ordering.
Note: It is recommended to thoroughly clean the stainless steel stinger immediately after assembly with the stainless steel cleaner found in the "options" tab. In every workshop, metal particles swirl around (created by grinding and sanding activities, among others). If these particles get on the stainless steel, they can cause flying rust. So it is not the stainless steel that rusts, but the swirling iron particles that are deposited on the stainless steel. Also, stainless steel is not chlorine resistant and can cause a rust reaction if it comes in contact with the flowers of certain trees or shrubs. Use this cleaner to clean stainless steel and give it a protective coating.
