Make sure that the sheet metal part to be welded has been treated with zinc before and after welding. This prevents premature corrosion by immediately insulating it from outside air, especially in areas where you won't be able to reach it later, such as seams and parts where several pieces of sheet metal overlap.
The pieces to be treated must be completely rust-free. Shake the spray can for 2 minutes and maintain a spray distance of 25 to 30 cm. After a drying time of 24 hours, one coat of primer and one coat of paint can be applied if desired.
