The pipes run from the heat exchangers to the heating passages. These pipes are insulated from the inside in order to keep the air as warm as possible during transport, this is necessary because the air has to travel a fairly long distance before entering the interior. This hose is always exposed to the weather and will tear over time, causing heat loss.
In many cases, the original engine is no longer present and the inside diameters of the hoses may deviate from what is specified below. The diameter of the ends and the total length of the hose are mentioned, check this before ordering. See the "other models" tab for the different pipes or hoses, by vehicle and year of construction.
Attention : As of August 1972, a rubber sleeve is first slid over the end of the heat exchanger and the cable gland of the body. This is only applicable when reusing the original heater hoses and does not apply to heater hoses and/or reproduction exchangers. The length and diameter are listed for a reason, please measure them before ordering, this is to avoid disappointment during assembly. It is also recommended to fix the hoses with a hose clamp, you can buy some extra (tab "options").
