The crème de la crème for real enthusiasts is this Eliminator gearshift. It was originally marketed by EMPI in the early 1970s and today it has become impossible to find. FLAT 4 has resumed production, we are now talking about a perfect reproduction. The travel distance is reduced by 40% for faster speed changes. Reverse is not protected by pressing (as it was originally) or by the use of a push button or trigger shift lever (T-handle, dual T-handle, or trigger shift lever). The gear lever has a chrome edge that fits perfectly in the tunnel and the gear lever mechanism is covered with a rubber coating. The Eliminator gear lever comes standard with a T-shaped wooden handle (like the original EMPI).
