For many years, the seat does not slide directly on the bare steel, but with the help of plastic glides or sliders. These glides ensure that the seat can be adjusted smoothly and without play.
If the sliders are missing or partially broken, the seat will have a lot of play, which will not only make adjustment more difficult, but you will also feel this play while driving in the form of tilting.
Install new slide parts and use universal lithium grease, listed in the options tab, to keep the slide system working properly.
If you have a choice between Grade A and Grade B, the difference is in the design. Quality A is 100% identical to the original and therefore fits the original seat rails perfectly, but may require adjustment if the seat rails have been replaced by a reproduction. Quality B fits most reproduction seat rails and also original seat rails without modification, although it is a few cm too short, which is a deviation from the original. The service life of quality A will be much longer than that of quality B.
