If you don't want to fit a standard hubcap on later Volkswagen Beetle, Karmann Ghia or Type 3 models, you can take this custom hubcap. The stamped VW emblem has been replaced by an enamelled Wolfsburg emblem which is attached to the hubcap with clips (included). These trendy custom wheel trims are delivered complete each.
Note: This is not a stainless steel hubcap, i.e. the chrome must be maintained as is the case with all chrome steel parts. If you postpone cleaning (especially during the winter period), rust will start to take over, so warranty on this point is out of the question.
The Wolfsburg emblem and clips are also available as spare parts, see the "replacement parts" tab.
To remove the hubcap, you can use a screwdriver, but this will damage the paint on the rim. If you are still in possession of an original set of tools, there is a special hubcap extractor that allows you to remove it from the rim without damaging the rim. For this purpose, the hubcap is provided with two holes in which the tractor is placed. If necessary, additionally order this tractor (or a variant of it) without this removal tool, you will cause irreversible damage to the rim. See the "options" tab.
