In the case of a water-cooled engine, the coolant is also used to heat the interior. The engine coolant is pumped through a heat exchanger which, in turn, generates heat. An additional fan mounted behind the heat exchanger can accelerate the flow of hot air. By controlling the amount of coolant flowing through the heat exchanger, the temperature is reduced or increased.
If the heat released decreases, the cause may be a blockage or leak. In both cases, replacing the heat exchanger is the best option.
Supplied with sealing strip.
