The headliner is kept in the right shape by metal rods called headliner bows which are inserted into the pockets provided for this purpose inside the headliner. In many cases, the old headliner is carelessly removed and the bows are deformed. You can bend a bent headliner bow back into a straight line, but when tension is applied to it, it will bend back to where you bent it straight (it contains spring steel).
Not all headliner bows are the same length and the number also differs depending on the model. Check in advance how many bows you need and shorten them to the desired length (sawing and deburring), using the old bows as an example if possible. The length is indicated in the product description.
Don't forget to order the end caps, which not only prevent damage to the paintwork, but also ensure that no additional noise is generated while driving (see options tab).
