The car pulling to one side during braking is often due to the adjustment of the brake shoes, they must be adjusted in the same way on the left and on the right. Release the handbrake and depress the brake pedal several times to center the brake shoes. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjusting nut of each brake shoe through the hole in the brake anchor plate or brake drum until the brake shoe touches the drum, then turn back 3 to 4 teeth until the drum is free again. Remember that the direction of rotation of the drum adjusting nuts is opposite.
When mounting the adjustment bolts, make sure that if one side is tilted, it is aligned with the brake shoe. Assemble with heat-resistant grease (see Options tab).
