Why should you reuse old rusty bolts and nuts when overhauling your engine? Take a complete set of new mounting hardware that is an improvement on the original in many ways.
All standard M8 nuts have been replaced by nuts with a plastic washer, which ensures that no oil can leak along the thread. Originally this was not applied and it was necessary to use liquid sealant. With these nuts, liquid sealing is no longer necessary because the locking has been improved.
The supplied copper-plated exhaust nuts are fixed with a 12 mm wrench. Smaller than the original which makes fixing much easier, and it prevents rust.
