Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a particular model, but are used universally.
These parts are recognizable by their part number beginning with "N", from the German word "Normteile", which means "standard parts".
It may be a standard part, but that does not mean that it is readily available today. Therefore, many of the parts in our range, which have VW numbers beginning with "N", are made especially by or for us.
The hex bolts listed here are identical to the original, i.e. they also have a tensile strength of 10.9, which is important for the applications of these bolts.
Caution: Always use the bolts prescribed by Volkswagen with the correct tensile strength. Never use bolts of the same size, but with a different tensile strength than the original!

Beetle:
- half crankcase upper part except for 25 and 30 hp engines 1 piece
- bearing flange on gearbox or stud replacement from 8.1960 5 pieces
- steering bar locking plate on steering bar bracket 1303 from 8.1974 1 piece
Karmann Ghia:
- half crankcase upper part except for 25 and 30 hp engines 1 piece
- bearing shield on gearbox or stud replacement from 8.1960 5 pieces
- front bumper support on roll bar with export bumper 2 pieces
Split Bus:
- half crankcase upper part except for 25 and 30 HP engines 1 piece
Bay Window Bus :
- half crankcase upper part for Type 1 engines 1 piece
- engine mounting on engine mounts and chassis 1 piece
- shift rod for front-rear automatic transmission 1 piece
Vanagon:
- half crankcase under oil pump on CT/CZ and WBX engines 1 piece
- bracket for power steering pump on WBX engines 2 pieces
- wooden bucket closure on the rear side of the pick-up 2 pcs
- exhaust pipe fixing on the muffler bracket on Syncro versions 2 pcs
Type 3 :
- half casing part on the upper side 1 piece
VW Thing:
- half crankcase upper 1 piece
- bearing shield on the gearbox or replacement of the studs 5 pieces
