Until 1964, the carpet surrounding the front foot heating outlets was equipped with aluminum rings. Until 1953, these were round openings, then oval-shaped. A year later, they were last replaced by an oblong model. From 1965, it was decided not to use aluminum rings anymore and the covers were made of plastic, sewn on the carpet. These oval carpet heater rings are available in perfect reproduction and are supplied in a set of four pieces for both sides.
