Handle loops that allow passengers to hold on while driving, or help them get in and out, are never mounted directly on the body. If you were to hang on to the buckles, a great deal of force would be exerted on them, which is why the location of the buckle is reinforced by a mounting bracket that also serves as a clothes hook.
To prevent the holder from being visible, a protective rubber cap is mounted on top, which extends partly over the loops of the handle.
Note : If your strap brackets are not equipped with belt hooks, don't forget to order the plastic underlay that is officially applied from model year 1968 onwards, it is listed in the "options" tab.
