These caster shims fit between the lower torque tube and the head of the chassis and are required if the car is lowered at the front using a lowered front axle or lowering adjusters.
These shims ensure that the position of the front axle is restored after lowering. The presence of these caster shims is very noticeable in the behaviour of the steering at high speed.
The shims are delivered in pairs, most of them one set is sufficient, but if the front axle is extremely low, you may have to use several shims on top of each other. The shims are 6.15 mm thick.
Look out! The original lower front axle bolts are now too short; add a set of extended front axle bolts.
