The torsion bar is screwed into the support arm on one side and on the other side with rubbers, a spacer, cover plates and nuts on the body.
If the torsion bar is not bent and the threads are not worn, you can put it back on, but the connecting parts usually need to be replaced.
If the rubbers start to show cracks it is advisable to replace them, and for the most part the saucers and spacer should also be replaced, rust being the main culprit.
