The brake pedal rotates on a bronze bearing pressed into the brake pedal, through which the bearing pin passes, which holds the return spring on the clutch pedal side in place.
If the pedal is not used for a long time, it may get stuck due to corrosion, remove it carefully, using a multi-spray that you first let work for a long time. Check the condition of all parts and replace the bearing bush axle if there has been corrosion at the point where it slides through the bronze bearing. The damage on the shaft is transmitted to the bronze bearing, which will wear very quickly, causing excessive play.
